Terms of Service

Welcome to The Bleach Boys!
We aim to make cleaning simple, honest, and stress-free. These Terms of Service ("Terms") outline how our bookings, payments, and responsibilities work so everyone’s on the same page.

By booking with us (online, by phone, or by message), you agree to these terms.

Bookings

  • Bookings made through our website are requests only until we contact you to confirm the time and date.

  • If you call or message us directly, we can confirm your booking on the spot.

  • We do our best to meet your preferred time but can’t guarantee availability until it’s confirmed with you.

  • By booking, you agree to provide accurate information about your property and requirements.

Payments

  • Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise arranged - no deposit required.

  • You can pay by card, cash, or bank transfer.

  • We charge an hourly rate, billed in 15-minute increments (rounded up).

  • A $50 rush fee applies for bookings made within 12 hours of the requested time.

Cancellations

  • Need to change your time or date? No problem — just let us know as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

  • If you cancel less than 12 hours before your booking, a $20 cancellation fee applies.

  • If you reschedule a booking within 12 hours of the original time and then cancel the new date, the cancellation fee still applies.

Service area

  • Our standard service area is listed at the top of the services page.

  • Jobs outside this area (for example, Wollongong) will incur a $20 out-of-area fee to cover travel and parking costs.

Entry and access

  • If you won’t be home during your clean, please provide clear instructions for entry (such as where a spare key is located).

  • We’ll lock up when we leave, unless you’ve instructed otherwise.

  • We’re fully insured, but can’t take responsibility for issues caused by incorrect or incomplete access details.

If the team cannot access the property at the booked time, a call-out fee of $50 may apply.

Our responsibilities

We take care to treat your property with respect and professionalism. However:

  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage.

  • Some stains, marks, or wear may not be fully removable despite our best efforts.

  • We are not liable for damage caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client (for example: rotting/rotten floorboards or damaged linings and coatings).

Photos

We may take before and after photos to show cleaning results or for quality assurance.
We will always ensure no personal or identifying information (like mail, family photos, or addresses) appears in any public images.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We want every clean to meet your expectations. If you’re not happy with something, please let us know within 24 hours of your clean and we’ll come back out to fix it — free of charge.
Our goal is for you to be completely satisfied, so we’ll do everything reasonable to make it right.

Pets

If you have pets, please let us know before your booking.
We collect pet details for two reasons:

  1. To ensure we bring the right products and equipment (for example, carpet shampooing after pets for end-of-lease cleans).

  2. To make sure we don’t send a cleaner who may have allergies.

We love animals, but we can’t take responsibility for pets left unattended during a clean.

Insurance and liability

We’re fully insured. That means if something unexpected happens during a clean, we’ll work with you and our insurer to make it right.
However, we are not liable for:

  • Damage caused by pre-existing issues or undisclosed conditions.

  • Items that were fragile, already broken, or improperly secured.

  • Losses caused by incorrect information provided to us.

Trust and respect

We don’t take deposits because we believe in trust — we’ll show up and do the job right, and we trust our clients to do the same by paying upon completion.
We ask that you treat our team with respect at all times; we’ll always do the same for you.

Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally to keep it accurate and compliant. Any updates or changes will be posted here and include the new effective date at the top.
