Terms of Service

Welcome to The Bleach Boys!

We aim to make cleaning simple, honest, and stress-free. These Terms outline how our bookings, payments, and responsibilities work so everyone’s on the same page.

By booking with us (online, by phone, or by message), you agree to these terms.

Bookings

• Website bookings are requests only until confirmed by us.
• Phone/message bookings may be confirmed instantly.
• Preferred times are subject to availability.
• Clients must provide accurate property information.

Payments

• Payment is due within 7 days of completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Fixed pricing applies based on the selected service package or agreed written quote.
• Overdue payments accrue interest at 2% per month, calculated daily on the outstanding balance from the due date until payment is received in full.
• Quotes are based on the information supplied at the time of booking. If the property condition, size or scope differs materially from what was disclosed, additional charges may apply.
• Any additional services or changes to the scope requested on the day may incur additional charges.
• Card, cash, and bank transfer are accepted payment methods.
• A $50 rush fee applies to bookings made within 12 hours’ notice.

Cancellations

• Changes allowed with notice.
• $20 cancellation fee if cancelled within 12 hours.
• Rescheduled bookings cancelled within 12 hours also incur fee.

Service Area

Our standard service area is listed on the services page.

Jobs outside this area incur a $20 out-of-area fee.

Entry & Access

• Clear entry instructions required if not home.
• $50 call-out fee if access not possible.
• We lock up unless instructed otherwise.

Satisfaction Guarantee

End of Lease Conditions

For End of Lease cleans, our Satisfaction Guarantee does not apply to any areas where the client acknowledges that the condition of the property at the end of the tenancy is equal to or better than its condition at the commencement of the tenancy.

We reserve the right to request a copy of the ingoing condition report to verify the property’s original condition and to assess whether the client properly inspected and agreed to the reported condition at the start of the tenancy.

Where:

• The area in question was already recorded as being in similar or worse condition at the commencement of tenancy; or
• The client agreed to the ingoing condition report without conducting a reasonable inspection; the Satisfaction Guarantee will be deemed void.

If we are required to return to the property under these circumstances, a fee equal to 50% of the original quoted price will apply.

Entry Condition Report Service

Where the client has purchased our Entry Condition Report Service and we have prepared the ingoing condition report on the client’s behalf, we accept responsibility for the accuracy of the documented condition of the property at the time of inspection, limited to what was reasonably visible and accessible during the inspection.

In these circumstances, the above End of Lease exclusions relating to failure to properly inspect or agree to the original condition report will not apply, as we prepared the report.

However, our liability is strictly limited to:

• The condition as documented in the report we prepared;
• Areas that were reasonably visible and accessible at the time of inspection; and
• Matters directly attributable to an error or omission in our documented assessment.

We are not liable for:

• Hidden, latent, or concealed defects;
• Changes to the property condition occurring after the inspection date;
• Damage caused by the tenant after the inspection was completed; or
• Fair wear and tear outside the scope of cleaning services.

Any remedy provided under this clause is limited to rectification of the relevant cleaning issue and does not extend to compensation for bond deductions, third-party costs, or consequential losses.

Insurance & Liability

We are:

• Fully insured.
• Not liable for pre-existing damage or undisclosed issues.
• Not responsible for fragile or improperly secured items.

Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
